Fireman Matt

Fireman Matt came to school today.

We learnt many things.
1. Lighters and matches are tools for adults not toys for us.
2. If there is a fire - get down, get low, get out fast.
3. The letter box is a safe meeting place.
4. Put a fire alarm in every bedroom, in the hallway and in the lounge.
5. Fires spread quickly, get out of the house fast.

Harold's Horrible Holiday

To Room 3,
I did not have a great holiday.
Mrs Aldridge made me clean all her house.

I cleaned the oven.
I washed the dishes.
I swept the floor.
I clean the dishwasher.
I vacuumed the carpet.
I washed the windows.
I cleaned the bath.
And I cleaned the toilets!

I can't wait to get back to school and see you all.

Harold's Holiday

To Room 3 students,
I am not having a very happy holiday.

Mrs Aldridge stuck me in the washing machine.  She said I was smelly!  I have never been in a washing machine before. I went round and round and upside down.
I got very wet and soapy.

And then Mrs Aldridge hung me on the line to dry with 2 pegs in my ears.  This was not funny, not funny at all. I just hung there in the wind and the sun shining on me.

But now I do smell nice.  And I am very clean!  I'm looking forward to seeing you all after the holidays and going home with you.
